Pastor Matt Beem

Camp Pastor July 2nd

Matt Beem was born and raised right here in the Lakes Region. Like many in this area, he did not grow up attending church. Matt came to faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 25 while living in Phoenix, AZ. He initially served as a contemporary worship leader in several Phoenix churches. Sensing a call to pastoral ministry, Matt earned his MDiv. from Fuller Theological Seminary. In 2014, he returned to his native New Hampshire in order to serve God in the place he calls home. Matt currently serves as the lead pastor of The Baptist Church of Franklin, NH.

Pastor Brandon Dupuis

Camp Pastor July 21st

Hello, my name is Brandon Dupuis and I live in Berlin NH! I am super excited to be able to take part as Camp pastor at Camp Sentinel this year! I serve as a pastor at the First Baptist Church of Berlin as well as Jefferson Christian Church. I have 4 children of my own. I am so excited for the opportunity to take part in all of the activities here at camp! I am a child at heart! I look forward to meeting everyone there on week 4/July 21st! God bless!

Owen Van Brunt

Owen has grown-up loving the stillness of camp and all it has to offer. He loves that camp paves the way for lifelong friendships and is a great way to grow closer with God. He has been on camp staff since 2023 and is looking forward serving you by being the Program Assistant this summer.

Tegan Perkins

Program Assistant

Tegan Perkins is a resident of the Tuftonboro region and has been attending camp since around 2009. He loves camp and genuinely wants it to continue being the best place on earth for personal and spiritual growth. Tegan is turning over a new leaf; he is focused on enjoying the beauty of God's creations. He enjoys biking and conversation, especially since he is studying communication in college. Tegan is excited and ready to support the staff and children this summer!

Paige Colburn

Day Camp Coordintator

Paige Colburn has been working at camp since 2021 and is excited for another summer with day camp! She started going to camp as a little adventurer in 2010. She will be a junior at Franklin and Marshall college and is majoring in psychology. She loves to read and spend time with her friends. Paige’s favorite part of camp is playing carpet ball, swimming, and making new friends. She is so excited to meet the campers this summer!

Alicia Barbon 

Program Staff

Alicia Barbon is from Groton Massachusetts.  She has been coming to camp since 2015. She has a passion for music and art. She likes to play her guitar, and to spend time outside.  She loves her 4 cats and her bird.  She is looking forward to meeting the campers and being able to get closer to God this summer.

Anna Hand

Program Staff

Anna Hand has been coming to camp since 2014. She goes to school full time and works at a daycare in her hometown Dover New Hampshire. During the off season she adores going to camp and hanging out with friends. During her free time Anna likes to color, go on walks, and spend time with friends and family. Anna loves to teach the little ones about Gods creation and the graces he gives us everyday and she can’t wait to spend time with the campers this summer!

Support Staff

Anna Luksha has been on staff since 2023, and coming to camp since 2017. She loves to write, lead worship, and crochet. And of course, she's looking forward to another great summer!

Ron Scovill

Chef

Ron is serving our one of our Chef's this summer. Ron has a extensive background in food service. He has managed many restaurants, camp food service, and more of his life.

Ryan Long

Program Staff

Ryan Long has been going to Camp Sentinel since 2018 and is very excited to be working here. He is homeschooled and loves all things cars, trucks, and motorsports. Ryan hopes to help campers learn more about God and His word.

Hannah King

Hannah has been coming to camp since 2018. She loves spending time with God and making new friends at camp. Her favorite thing to do at camp is to worship or play field games. Outside of camp, she loves to read and do crafts. She is currently studying to become a nurse.

Briana Thompson

Bri has been attending camp since 2016, and has been serving since 2022. She enjoys skiing, learning new things, hanging out with her friends and family, and following God. Bri is so excited to be able to serve another summer and help others learn more about God!

Alyssa Ely

Kitchen Staff

"Alyssa has been serving on Kitchen Crew at camp since 2023, and she is excited about being able to return for another summer! In her free time, she enjoys singing, playing the piano, and learning the Japanese language. She is looking forward to strengthening her relationship with God and with others while at camp, and she can’t wait to see what God does this summer."

Franco Martinez-Arevalo

Program Staff

Franco is joining Camp Sentinel for the first time, coming from El Salvador. He has just finished his degree in Acting and Theater and is currently taking History courses at Harvard University. Franco enjoys spending time in the mountains with his family and loves spending his Saturday mornings serving in his local church’s teen ministry in western El Salvador. He is eager to come and serve at Sentinel and be a part of what God is going to do this summer.

Eleck Lyle

Program Staff

Eleck Lyle has experienced the amazing experience of camp sentinel. He spends his free time playing sports and hanging out with friends. Eleck also love to swim and go for walks. He finds that the quietness of sentinel gives him a certain type of peace and connect to God. And he is looking forward to serving and showing that peace to others this summer.

Troy Carpenter

Program Staff

Troy has been coming to Camp Sentinel since 2016. He has enjoyed going every single year. He is an active person. He loves to be moving around all the time. Some of his favorite hobbies are basketball, and gaga ball. Most of all, his favorite thing is to grow closer to God. He enjoys being around all the campers, and is looking forward to spending his summer at Camp this year.

Hap Krautmann

Program Staff

Hap has been attending Camp Sentinel programs since 2022. Hap moved to Madison, NH 4 years ago. He grew up being a Military kid and living all over the country. Hap is a home school kid and enjoys theater, ballet, wrestling, boxing and being active outdoors. Hap's favorite activities at camp are dodge ball and swimming. Hap is looking forward to meeting this years Campers and having a great Summer!

Leanne Daigneau

Senior 'Ventures/Adult

Camp Coordinator

Leanne has been serving at camp in many capacities since 2021. Last year she did her first year exclusively working with the Adult Campers and is excited to be doing it again this year! Leanne enjoys figure skating, leading worship at her school and church, and serving others as an LNA. One thing Leanne loves about camp is its capability to bring many generations together, to learn about Christ and the Bible from one another!

Abi Roseberry

Abi is a resident of a Moultonborough. She loves to read and play with her four pet rats. She loved participating in the Leadership Program last year. Abi is super excited to continue working on the beautiful property and to make new friends this summer!

Pastor Mark Jackson

Camp Pastor July 9th 

 Mark is currently the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Lexington, MA where he has been serving since 2008.  Mark has always had a heart for teenagers and has been a retreat leader, youth speaker and writer of youth Sunday School Material.  He was camp pastor and Bible teacher at other children’s summer camp programs in Missouri and North Carolina prior to his service at Camp Sentinel. Mark is married to his wife, Laura of 21 years and they have one daughter, Alyssa, 16 who has grown up spending time each summer of her life at Camp Sentinel.  Alyssa is now a summer camp counselor at Camp Sentinel.  This is Mark’s 20th year as a summer camp pastor at Sentinel. Camp Sentinel is such a special place to Mark and his family. They have many meaningful  memories from their years here.  Mark and his family love living in New England and enjoy outdoor activities, traveling, antiquing and exploring God’s wonderful creation.

Elissa Boucher

Coordinator

Elissa Boucher is from Antrim, New Hampshire. She has been serving as Sentinel's Camp Nurse/Wellness Coordinator since 2014 and in other roles since 1999. Elissa has her bachelor’s degree of science in nursing and is currently licensed in the State of New Hampshire as a registered nurse. She is really excited to meet all the children and coordinate any medical care that is needed while at camp. Outside of camp Elissa likes to read non-fiction and fictional historical books. She also likes archery and goes target practicing in her free time. She is a big New England sports fan and tries to watch or listen to as many of the Red Sox games as possible. Elissa is always excited to see all that God does at Sentinel, and she looks forward to seeing and experience his blessings this summer.

Daniel Pack

Program Staff


Hello, my name is Daniel Pack.  The most notable thing to happen within my lifetime was my diagnosis with Type 1 Diabetes, which has really affected my outlook on life in a positive way. I hope to continue to grow and develop as a Christian in the next few years. My plan for this year is to help keep Camp Sentinel as clean as possible so that campers can enjoy their time at camp unhindered. I'm happy to be working with the Camp Sentinel team!

Paige Robbins

Paige Robbins is a resident of Fryeburg Maine, She loves attending church in Conway New Hampshire on Thursdays and hanging out with her friends. Paige is getting closer to God each and everyday! She loves dancing and teaching childern

Aidan Thompson

Boy's Unit Leader/Head

Counselor

Aidan has been part Camp Sentinel since 2012 and is thrilled to return as the Boys Unit Leader. He enjoys playing tennis, photography, and studying math. He's currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics at Southern New Hampshire University. His favorite camp activities include connecting with campers, playing gaga ball, and worshipping together.

Hannah Long

Program Staff

Hannah is very excited to return on staff this year! She enjoys horseback riding, acting, traveling, and ballroom dancing. Last year she really enjoyed getting to know the campers and is looking forward to doing so again this year. Hannah’s favorite part about camp is being able to grow closer to God and getting to know new people.

Ben Hodgdon

Housekeeping Staff

2023 was Ben’s first year working at camp and he has been attending Sentinel since 2013. Ben comes from a family that has been attending Sentinel for four generations. Ben's objective with serving the Lord this summer is to apply his talents with maintenance and utilize his leadership abilities. Ben originally grew up in California and now resides in Texas, where he is finishing high school before moving on to a higher education facility where he plans on a career in engineering.

Jack Dupuis
Program Staff

Jack Dupuis is from the Great North Woods and has been attending camp since 2016! Camp has been a very important part of his life and he is excited to be part of camp staff this year and growing closer to the Lord through it. During his free time he enjoys playing piano, learning the ukulele, listening to music, solving various Rubiks cubes and acting in local theatre.

Isabelle Schena

Kitchen Staff

“Isabelle will be working in the kitchen as a Food Services Intern this summer. She was previously a student at Plymouth State University, and is now located in Boston at Tufts University studying a Masters in Nutrition and Agriculture. This is her first summer at camp, and she is very excited to meet new friends and be able to serve and worship the Lord with everyone! She loves the outdoors, music, games, and running & she can’t wait to meet everyone!”

Mackenzie Chapman

Kitchen Staff

Mackenzie Chapman will be doing her third summer at camp sentinel! She enjoys arts music and crochet, and can’t wait to be part of the kitchen again. She will be attending Gordon college in the fall for Early Childhood and Special education for her freshman year. She can’t wait to grow her faith even more at camp this summer!

Adam Mitchell

Adam is going into his second year of working at Camp Sentinel, and can't wait to spend his 11th summer in a row there. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, chess, and spending time with his friends. Adam's favorite part about being at camp is learning new things and getting to meet new people.

Adele Handfield

Having been surrounded by kids almost her entire life, Adele is super excited to join Camp Sentinel this year as a counselor. A big-time enjoyer of Star Wars, Spider-Man, ballroom dancing, and skiing, Adele also enjoys swimming, camping, and making fancy desserts.

Wesley Reif

Program Staff

Wesley is from Manchester, NH and has been going to Camp Sentinel since 2008 for the Home School Family Retreats and has been steadily working as staff since 2022! What Wesley loves most is hyping others up and just telling them about Jesus Christ's love for them. He also loves games, (nerf, gaga, carpet ball, capture the flag) singing, dancing, pizza, and voice impressions. He has helped out at several Church Camp events, ranging from his local one at Faith Baptist Church in Manchester, to Candia Congregational Church's Wilderness Camp. He loves people and hopes to show everyone that God loves them too!

Sarah Blackey

Program Staff

Sarah Blackey is not quite a Vermonter, because she spent the first 19 days of her life in New Hampshire. She loves spending time outside in her community doing activities like Nordic skiing and hiking. Softball is one of her passions. When she started going to camp in 2016, Sarah immediately felt the presence of the Lord and found it truly peaceful. She is excited to help kids grow in their faith this summer!

Skye has been working at camp since 2024 and is very excited for another summer! She is going into her senior year of high school. She loves cheerleading and making bracelets in her free time. Her favorite part of camp is teaching kids about how much God adores and loves each and every one of them!

"This will be Luc's first year working at the camp. Luc is 17, a junior in high school at Portsmouth Christian Academy. He currently works for Chick fil A on the weekends and is a full-time pro snowboarder, runs cross-country, funny, bright and never scared to have fun or embarrass himself. Wants to be a mechanic as a career job and in the winter snowboard and get on the US team for the Olympics. Equal balance of smart and silly. Loves to show Gods light to as many as he can through the many talents he has or in other ways he comes up with. He wants God to use him in the best way possibly for the world to come to know Him."
